TO THE DOGS.

Dear Bloggers:

Our pet human has contracted a unique strand of Lycanthropy that transforms her from human to bitch without the bone popping furry consequesces.  She foolishly keeps refering to it as a cold, but we know better.  She reeks of aspirin and citrus.

Hide the biscuits!

The man servant has been hiding out in the basement, undoubtedly too frightened to show his head.

We have demanded that she relinquish command of this post to us until the symptoms subside and have sent her blog hopping.  If you see her, please be kind.  She's not contagious.  And pretty soon she'll be back to her delightfully stinky self, just how we like her.

Also, don't be angry if your canine counterpart can't type.  We're smarter than we look, but if you knew the truth, that would put an end to our perfect lives.

Sincerely,

Deedra and Stryker,
Pooch Patrol

  4. Dear Deedra & Stryker,

I have the same problems with my humans. Sometimes I have waggle my tail or bark at them to get them to bed, where they really should be if they're ill.

I hope yours are feeling better soon,

    Ellie's imaginary dog, Khan.

  5. Dear Deedra and Stryker:

Our mummsy's been in what daddy-o calls the funk since last Monday. She seems a little better now but there are still remnants of this horrible thing. But seriously we are quite afraid that she's been taken over by the Pod People.

  6. I know dogs are smarter than most think. That's why if I see some shiftless dog on the side of the road I yell at it to get a job.

  20. Oh my stars... that was funny! This is my favorite part: "transforms her from human to bitch without the bone popping furry consequences..." (Well... and the man servant hiding out in the basement bit.)

Feel better, and have the poor fellow in the basement run out for some Godiva Chocolates and daisies.

  22. LOL at TS Hendrik's comment.

Hope you feel better very soon. My cat doesn't want to see anymore dog posts. He's not nearly so skilled at typing.

  24. Hump her leg a few times. It's like chicken soup for the random case of lycanthropy.

  25. Ahhh! You have Shelties! They are one of my favorites! My grandmother used to breed them and I had several of them when I grew up. Great dogs and it doesn't surprise me that they pinch hit your blog post for today!!! Well done too. Better than most humans. Make sure they get a chance to post at least once a week, they're brilliant! Feel better!

  26. Dear Deedra and Stryker, cuddle up close to your human and lick her face all over. Humans love that kind of stuff! Also wish her a speedy recovery.

  30. Happy you guys like the Poochies. They're a riot. Thanks for all the well wishes. It's working. :) For all of you who suggested slobbering and licking, they took you up on it. Thanks loads. I know exactly where those tongues have been. Also, my dogs don't hump legs, however that suggestion was much appreciated and cracked me up. I did have a sheltie that would try that while I was on the phone...I bought him a toy kangaroo. And Ellie, I still love Khan. :)

  31. Nice to meet you, Deedra and Stryker. Do me favour. When Laila returns, tell her I stopped by as part of the campaign. I also won't tell her some of the things you said about her. Nice blog!
