Dear Bloggers:
Our pet human has contracted a unique strand of Lycanthropy that transforms her from human to bitch without the bone popping furry consequesces. She foolishly keeps refering to it as a cold, but we know better. She reeks of aspirin and citrus.
Hide the biscuits!
The man servant has been hiding out in the basement, undoubtedly too frightened to show his head.
We have demanded that she relinquish command of this post to us until the symptoms subside and have sent her blog hopping. If you see her, please be kind. She's not contagious. And pretty soon she'll be back to her delightfully stinky self, just how we like her.
Also, don't be angry if your canine counterpart can't type. We're smarter than we look, but if you knew the truth, that would put an end to our perfect lives.
Sincerely,
Deedra and Stryker,
Pooch Patrol
This was a nice wake-up call. I hope your human feels better.
ReplyDeleteLOL! May your pet human recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteLove the perspective! Hope Laila's feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteDear Deedra & Stryker,
ReplyDeleteI have the same problems with my humans. Sometimes I have waggle my tail or bark at them to get them to bed, where they really should be if they're ill.
I hope yours are feeling better soon,
Ellie's imaginary dog, Khan.
Dear Deedra and Stryker:
ReplyDeleteOur mummsy's been in what daddy-o calls the funk since last Monday. She seems a little better now but there are still remnants of this horrible thing. But seriously we are quite afraid that she's been taken over by the Pod People.
Sir Poops-A-Lot and Hair Ball
Cute. :)
ReplyDeleteI know dogs are smarter than most think. That's why if I see some shiftless dog on the side of the road I yell at it to get a job.
ReplyDeleteCute pooches! And, wow, what a green lawn! Both very impressive:)
ReplyDeletePlease give Laila a big wet get-well-kiss from me. Only you do it, 'kay?
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeletepeople are the pets indeed.
Ha! Cute post, and adorable photo. May your human feel better and back to normal soon! :)
ReplyDeletePlease wish Laila a speedy recovery. I'm sure she loves both of you!
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing! I'm so sorry you're sick. :( I come down with a case of lycanthropy now and then too. ;) Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteCute post, guys, ah, I mean, you furry humans. Oh, don't insult you. You are canine and proud of it, huh? There you go! Wish your human speedy recovery for me, will you?
ReplyDeleteso funny =D
ReplyDeletebut sorry you're not feeling good.
nice to meet you!
Aww, so cute! Loved this! And your dogs are totally adorable. :) Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteDear Dogs...we are impressed with your typing. We thought only cats could read, write and type. Now go take care of your pet human. GEt well!
ReplyDeleteWoof...woof...woof...woof...woof...SNIFF BUTT...woof...woof...woof...HUMP ANYTHING...woof...woof...woof...woof...PEE....woof...woof...NAP.
ReplyDeleteGood dog!
Very funny! Only thing contagious about Laila is her enthusiasm.
ReplyDeleteHa! Funny. And Al Penwasser's comment cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteOh my stars... that was funny! This is my favorite part: "transforms her from human to bitch without the bone popping furry consequences..." (Well... and the man servant hiding out in the basement bit.)
ReplyDeleteFeel better, and have the poor fellow in the basement run out for some Godiva Chocolates and daisies.
Nice...
ReplyDelete@All. Thank you for wishing me a rapid recovery. I can't wait. My hubby...that is the man servant will be happy to hear you like his grass. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL at TS Hendrik's comment.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better very soon. My cat doesn't want to see anymore dog posts. He's not nearly so skilled at typing.
xoRobyn
I love your delicious irony.
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard at that first paragraph!!
ReplyDeleteHump her leg a few times. It's like chicken soup for the random case of lycanthropy.
ReplyDeleteAhhh! You have Shelties! They are one of my favorites! My grandmother used to breed them and I had several of them when I grew up. Great dogs and it doesn't surprise me that they pinch hit your blog post for today!!! Well done too. Better than most humans. Make sure they get a chance to post at least once a week, they're brilliant! Feel better!
ReplyDeleteDear Deedra and Stryker, cuddle up close to your human and lick her face all over. Humans love that kind of stuff! Also wish her a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! But I hope your human feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteCunning canines! :O)
ReplyDeleteI should let me cats write a blog post one day.
ReplyDeleteHappy you guys like the Poochies. They're a riot. Thanks for all the well wishes. It's working. :) For all of you who suggested slobbering and licking, they took you up on it. Thanks loads. I know exactly where those tongues have been. Also, my dogs don't hump legs, however that suggestion was much appreciated and cracked me up. I did have a sheltie that would try that while I was on the phone...I bought him a toy kangaroo. And Ellie, I still love Khan. :)
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, Deedra and Stryker. Do me favour. When Laila returns, tell her I stopped by as part of the campaign. I also won't tell her some of the things you said about her. Nice blog!
ReplyDeleteOh, I've missed you while I've been away, though you are one of the few I did try to visit. Sorry to hear you're sick. I am, too. Got sick on day 9 of my 13 day college tour trip.
ReplyDeleteFeel better, gurll!!
Oh my goodness. That was too cute! :)
ReplyDeleteDeedra and Stryker, please take care of your human for us!
They could easily take over the world but they don't want the hassle. ~Mary
ReplyDeletebest listen to the shelties... the wee scots are too smart for the likes of bipeds! ;) lol
ReplyDeletePsst ... I know you usually do anyway because you're such a gracious socializing kinda lovely lady, but you'll want to check my post tomorrow ...
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh. That was hilarious! I hope you get feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteLycanthropy.........well, I learned a new word (I just looked it up) and now I get the bitch part.....
