A Little Wednesday Fun

Good morning bloggeroos.

Since I'm still exhausted from Monday, I thought today we could have a little fun in the form of roleplaying.  This game will require you to answer one very simple question and offer some brief eye candy.

Let's say you know you're going to be stranded here.

Not to worry.  I've allowed for a bit of companionship.

Ladies

You will be stranded with this guy.

Minus the armor.

Woohoo!  Hoot, whistle, hop in place.

Gentlemen, I have spared no expense.

You will be stranded with

this lady.

Dammit, I told them not to use my body in that picture!

Now, boast of your superhuman abilities and sexual prowess all you want.

You will still run out of things to do.

I have allowed you to take one item and only one item as a form of entertainment.

Choose wisely.

There is no electricity on a deserted island.

And you may be there a while.

What one item would you take with you?

...^-^...

Have a good day!

  1. LOL... with that dude. Um...I don't think I'd need anything else.

  2. I'd like to replace the slab of beef with my husband. (And rather imagine Slab would prefer his own girl to me, as well.)

  3. I don't find her attractive. She kind of looks like Cruella De Vil. I hope she's at least handy. I guess I'd take my bible along. Since there's no temptation there, I might as well take the opportunity to try and become a better man. Or if they've invented them by the time this happens, a robot butler.

  4. Ha, what a scenario! My first thought regarding what to bring is a good book--but which one? Now that is the question. ;o)

  5. Well, being the huge fan of Spartacus that I am, I would probably deliberately beach my boat on a deserted island, if he came with it. :P

Have to go with the boring answer and say I'd take Pride and Prejudice along with me. Maybe Spartacus can help turn the pages when he isn't busy fanning me with a palm leaf.

  6. Ooh, hard to decide. I think I'd have to take my generator so I could run my computer so I could send pics of me & my new guy to all my girlfriends so I could gloat and say something stupid like, "I'm lost. Wish you were here."

  7. I would take my husband who knows how to get people together for the common good so we could all survive. Plus I love my husband and I don't want to cheat on him.

  8. Wait! Do I get books on this island? I need those most of all. After a few months I'll fall in love with my beach ball named Wilson, so my relationship needs will be met, but I still need some literary inspiration on a day to day basis;)

  9. I wanted to stop by and let you know that I finally posted your Liebster award at my blog. I'm sorry that took so long. And thank you for giving me the award. I actually got two. Ashley left one and then a few days later, you left another. Now, for that island... the one thing I'd HAVE to have on the island is my Bible. I know. I know. It's not entertainment. But, there ya go!

  10. I like the idea of a generator but where would we get gas? I am saying the Complete Works of Shakespeare.

  11. You guys are hilarious...and so cute. I'm offering you a slab of meat, like Suze says, and everyone wants their spouses, books, or bibles. I love you all.

FYI: I'd take my hubby too, but you don't get to pick who you get stranded with. This is a game of pretend, and I do appreciate you playing. :)

    Travis, the replicator was ingenius.

MY ANSWER: a pair of binoculars so I can catch a glimpse of the guy on the other side of the island who invented fire and talks to his soccer ball.

I can always use bat poop to write on walls. I can only take one book and that could get boring. There's no electricity.

  12. I would take my husband and make the beefcake work for us. I'm more of a fan of intellectual men (geeks!) than muscled warriors.

  13. That girl looks like she would demand a comb and a mirror and I would be spending my days coming her hair and learning ways to do those fancy braids. Oh you meant something entertaining for both of us. Okay I choose lawn dart. That game has an edge of terror to it that would break up and ordinary day. Or a hula hoop so I can watch her practice her hoop technique all day. You see I am a simple man.

  14. Vibrator. Because that guy looks like he would tire out after a while ;)

Joking! I would definitely take my writing folder though. And then be sad when the pages ran out.

Fellow Fantasy Campaigner here - love the post!

  15. Very well done guys. I love the creativity. LOL.

  16. Sorry, but I'd take my hubby, too, but if we've got access to a replicator before going I'll swap that girl's body for my own. No way her belly would look that nice after have carried five huge babies. ;)

  17. Stopping by from the campaign to say hi :)

What would I take? A book. Yeah, I'm stodgy that way. I've always been attracted to the geeky types, because guys like the one in the picture usually have the brains of a marsupial.

    ReplyDelete
  18. my dog, victor... he's more entertaining than anything seen elsewhere... and - he'd alert us should any maroon dare interrupt! ;) lol

  19. Lisa: You'd get gas from all the beans you brought with you.

  20. Jenga! Or maybe Scrabble.

You know, since I'm not allowed to bring my husband, or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  21. A case of condoms.
    Hey, I don't know where's she's been!
On second thought, scratch that - I'll just take my wife and then I'm good to go.

  22. Howdy, fellow campaigner!

Hmm...I dunno...I'm not really sure that guy's my type.

    Can I has solar-powered Kindle? :D

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sunscreen.

I'll pass on the dude though - I prefer the nerd type, and my husband (the nerd type) wouldn't be happy.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hah! I have no husband. I can accept the island man without an ounce of guilt!

    Let's see...

I would take a razor. I'm not frolicking around the island without shaving my legs! :P

  25. I'd take Alex's case of condoms. Thanks, Alex. Oh, and THANK YOU SO MUCH, Laila!

  26. A hammock... i need a good night sleep. after that i can do anything, several times over.

  27. I don't know if I can comment until I view the whole package, so to speak. There seems to be a lot of leather in the way. Like a chick in spandex, you don't know what lies beneath until it comes off.

Assuming I don't need to bring birth control, I'd bring a guitar. I can forgive a lot of things if he turns into a musician.

  28. If it was the first Spartacus (AW), then I'd want a bucket so I could fill it with water & douse any signal fire cuz I wouldn't want to be rescued!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm totally fucking stumped. I came over here through the Campaign link, and what you should know is that I, a 53-year old woman, have a libido that's gone AWOL. So... I really don't care what that hunk is doing on my island. What do I need? A corkscrew! And some wine!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Uhm... Can I take a private jet? I'd just need to pop home every once in a while to check hubbie is feeding the kids and the woofer ;o)

I'm in your Paranormal Romance group in the campaign, btw!

  31. That's a tough one, with entertainment like that fella, I'm not sure I'd need much else.

Fellow campaigner dropping in to say hi. I LOVE your header, beautiful and haunting!

  32. Hi all, so I emailed most of you, unless of course my phone told me I was emailing no reply blogger. After a few expletives I let that go. I want to thank everyone who participated in this game. I welcome your creative, funny, steadfast answers. You are all terrific! :)

  33. A boat would be nice. ~Mary

  34. Well, I'm in luck since that guy IS my husband! The other thing I'd want is a musical instrument. Something simple and durable like a flute or wooden pipe. No matter how much I love a book, I probably would get tired of it after the 50th straight reading. A musical instrument is as variable as your skill and inspiration!

Neat question. I'm Paula S, Jordan member of the SF Campaign group. Nice to meet you!

  35. Oh great post! I'd take a blanket - I hate to be cold and I'm a tad shy! Also passed on the 7 links award to you in today's blog post. You are a regular visitor and have a great blog so wanted you to know you are very much appreciated!

  36. What a nice view you'd have on that island.

  37. An umbrella - so I wouldn't get sunburnt bits rolling around with the awesome man hunk. LOL
