Socrates believed that the gods provided us with a type of insanity. The illness was responsible for poetry, mysticism, love, and philosophy. He called it Divine Madness. We call it intuition, inspiration, the muse. Regardless, I have been contaminated. This blog is an attempt to share the ramblings in my head by the subtle stroking of keys. I'm going to touch upon those situations that move me and define me as human.
I'm sure mother dog never even noticed the difference.

ReplyDeleteSomehow, I don't think that's what MY pups have in mind when they chase the squirrels around my backyard!
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
Mama dog is probably looking at her brood and saying, I knew that night we did all those Milk Bones was crazy, but damn! This is way cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Finnegan has a great backstory! Have a cute weekend, Roland
ReplyDeleteAW
ReplyDelete@Alex. I wonder how a human would have acted.
ReplyDelete@Pk, E, Tim, Lisa, LG, and Lydia. Yes, he is very cute.
@Nancy. A husky and a malamute...I'm sure they're thinking chow.
@Julie. Stoned on milk bones...love it.
@Roland. You too.
@Kelley. I know.
Now here's the thing. Finnegan is not mine but I did have a pet squirrel, rescued him from the park, fell off a tree...him, not me. His name was Archimedes. This little guy reminds me of him. My baby ate a whole through the wall and disappeared forever. Animals can break your heart without meaning too. All I can hope is that nature took him in. That was a long time ago. And this is why I stick to dogs now, still couldn't resist Finnegan. There, that's the story. :)
Wow, ok even as a guys, I must admit those dogs are cute:)
