HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Many of you have stopped by or emailed me asking where I'm hiding.  Thank you for thinking of me.  My life has gotten just a little complicated, and I can't seem to find time for much of anything.  I'm blaming the day job.

In light of one of my favorite holidays, Valentine's, here's a pretty heart fairy.

My warmest wishes to all of you.  Enjoy a day with all your loved ones.

Hope to see everyone soon.

  1. Beautiful fairy :-)

I hear you about the complicated life ... sometimes things just get busy and crazy. I know when I get overwhelmed with everything, my blog is the first to go to the back burner. We'll be here waiting when you're back :-)

  2. I hear you too....what is the deal here I would like to know. On the other hand I think every year has this sort of a beginning, and then thinks fall into a pattern. I am happy that the pooch patrol is there to lend you a hand. Happy Valentine's day!

  5. Laila! Glad to hear from you. Hope life is settling down for you--I know the feeling of being pulled in too many directions, the past couple months have been crazy. BTW, I swear I thought I saw you at Kohls one night, and I was going to yell out your name but then I was paranoid I'd yell at a woman who wasn't you and she'd freak out and throw Rachael Ray cookware at me or something. Next time I'll take the risk.

  6. Happy Valentine's Day, Laila. Let me share a song with me that I hope will fill your heart with peace and love.

He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts
Rest assured this troubadour is acting on His part.
The union of your spirits, here, has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
    There is Love,
    there is Love.

Well a man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home
They shall travel on to where the two shall be as one.
As it was in the beginning is now and til the end
Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again.
    And there is Love,
    there is Love.

Well then what's to be the reason for becoming man and wife?
Is it love that brings you here or love that brings you life?
For if loving is the answer, then who's the giving for?
Do you believe in something that you've never seen before?
    Oh there is Love,
    there is Love.

Oh the marriage of your spirits here has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
    There is Love,
    there is Love.

  7. Yes. Jobs do get in the way of our writing lives. Sometimes we have to choose where we're going to put our energies. Paying the bills are definitely important and finishing our MS is too.

Happy Valentine's and we'll see you soon.

  12. Gosh Laila,
Now there's the difference. Many of your adoring fans have asked you where you've been hiding. Me, remember me? Well over at my shy, humble unassuming site, which really is a waste of time to read, I have received emails pleading with me to increase the length of time between my postings.
Oh, on behalf of Fidelina, the beautiful fairy princess who lives in my garden, along with Geoffrey the Garden Gnome, CEO of 'Better Gnomes and Gardens' and their adorable child, Einahalk, we all wish you somewhat belated peaceful, positive wishes that you had a lovely Valentine's Day.
And with that, this starstruck fan of yours, shall now go back to his blog and his well deserved lack of interest on his not worth reading, site.
With respect and kind wishes, Gary :)
